Inside Out Garden Rooms was asked to design an artist's studio that was spacious, had plenty of natural lighting, storage and a sink
There was an existing pig shed and outdoor toilet in the back garden that had been previously used as a pottery studio. The roof leaked, and the open front provided no weather protection – not fit to use as an artist studio by the new owners.
Inside Out Garden Rooms was asked to design a studio that was spacious, with plenty of natural lighting, storage and sink with running water for washing painting equipment. The garden was not spacious, so we decided to incorporate two of the existing stone walls into the design, gaining an additional 3.5m² of floor area.
I'm very pleased with my new studio, it stays fairly warm in winter. They did a good job.
